Fien van der Steichel is a Belgian artist whose practice moves between image-making, architecture, material and spatial research. Working with appropriated surveillance imagery, historic photographic processes and independently designed architectural frames, she examines borders, perception, and the systems that determine how we see and experience places from which we remain physically removed.
