Brandon Morris

Debut Paris Solo Exhibition with Europa Gallery · Paris, France · 2026

For Brandon Morris’ Paris debut, Tissu Expansé presented a new body of sculptural garments that seemed to exist somewhere between fashion, apparition, and the human form. Presented at Europa Gallery, the exhibition brought together five pale blue fiberglass and resin works from Morris’ ongoing Ghost Dresses series. Constructed as garments without bodies, the sculptures hold the gestures of invisible figures: bodices remain full, skirts appear caught in motion, and sleeves reach outward into the space. Drawing from the visual language of fashion while removing the wearer entirely, Morris transforms the dress into something uncanny and strangely alive. Bureau.Art managed VIP engagement and opening production around the exhibition, introducing collectors, curators, and institutional partners to Morris’ practice through bespoke private visits and a curated opening program. The project centered on creating meaningful encounters around the artist’s first presentation in Paris, bringing together an international community across contemporary art, fashion, and culture. Tissu Expansé marked an important moment in Morris’ growing international practice. Following his Paris debut, Morris was invited to participate in AMA Venezia alongside artists including Arthur Jafa and Richard Serra, as well as the 2026 Bangkok Biennale.
