Located in the owner’s former home in Cairo’s Zamalek district, Tintera Gallery is Egypt’s first art space dedicated exclusively to photography. Beyond its curated exhibitions, the gallery houses an archive library in the backroom, where visitors can explore archival prints and photography books, handled with delicate cloth gloves to preserve their history.
